Fish Shelter Project Overview

The Elk River Chain of Lakes Fish Shelters Project is an effort to install natural fish shelters in the following five lakes in the Chain of Lakes (click on the lake to see the Google Map of locations of its fish shelters or download a printable version):

The project will begin in 2012 and run for five years. Effectiveness will be evaluated regularly and the approach may be modified as required. The project will be comprehensive and in the future may be expanded to include aquatic habitat improvement in shallow water.
